I've Returned to Florida

I had a great visit with my sister. We got to do everything we planned and more. Most of all we enjoyed just having time together.

Lion King was magnificent. The Chihuly Exhibit was breathtaking.

The weather was nice but chilly yesterday morning (39 degrees) when we headed to the airport.
Today I'm catching up on mail. Walt surprised me with a clean RV and laundry all done.

Time is Flying and I Am Too

We seem to keep busy but can't account for where the time goes.

It is in the lower 60's today but windy so it seems much cooler. Sun is shining so it should warm up soon.

Walt is always busy with something around the park. He enjoys being on the Work Party on Thursday mornings. This morning he is helping build a rack for electrical service - FPL will be moving the service later this morning.

I am packing and getting ready to fly to Phoenix tomorrow to visit my sister. I will be there a week and am looking forward to spending time together. Mindy included me on her Mom's Christmas gift so we will be attending Lion King Friday night at Grady Gammage Theater compliments of the Sass family. We also plan to see the Dale Chihuly exhibit at the Desert Botanical Garden. Click on his name for a link to the website -- it looks beautiful. Virginia & I went to one of his exhibits in Phoenix some years ago -- it was enchanting.

I'm off to do some last minute shopping for travel items.

Hope everyone is doing well.

A Cold Front

A cold front moved in yesterday and we had a little rain with lots of wind. Temperatures dropped from our normal upper 70's.

This morning it was 53 degrees at 7:30 am -- cold by SW Florida standards!

While I was walking the dog, I watched the clouds and thought that they looked just like snow -- I'm calling it 'reverse snow' since it is above us.

I know many people are having real cold and snow - Rachel says it just keeps snowing in the Chicago area.

The bumpy, thick clouds were to the east, the second photo shows the clear blue sky to the north and west. Looks like the clouds will clear and we'll have a sunny day.
