Walt has always dreamed of traveling to Nova Scotia. Last October we decided to join a 'Tracks to Adventure' tour of the Atlantic Provinces of Canada -- commonly called the Maritimes.
Since then I have collected a bin of information about the trip and additional sights we might like to visit. We have never traveled to New England, let alone Canada!
The wagonmaster sent us information about our meeting point in Maine. We will meet the group by August 4th at the Timberland Acres RV Park in Trenton, Maine. It is near Bar Harbor. Later we talked with the wagonmaster and he answered our questions about the trip arrangements.
The tour is 33 days and includes all our campground and ferry reservations as well as many meals, tours and activities. We leave Maine on August 5th and will drive at least 2543 miles before the tour concludes in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada on September 5th.
After the tour ends, we will be exploring New England -- the fall colors should be starting to glow by that time.
We then have reservations to attend the Teton Owners Rally in Boston from Sept 16-22. The rally will be held at Normandy Farms RV Resort in Foxboro, MA. We will be taking several tours in the Boston area.
Sounds like an exciting Summer/Fall for us.
