My sister lives in an area of Phoenix that waters with flood irrigation. Every couple of weeks, a valve is opened in the yard and the yard floods. The yard is bermed to hold the water and allow it to slowly soak into the soil.
Miss Biggs had a blast swimming in the irrigation waters. My great-nieces & nephew had fun too.
Sometimes ducks come to swim but they didn't venture around Biggs.
