We cruised into the bay today and visited a Mussel Farm. It was so interesting to see how they cultivate the mussels. They even steamed mussels on the cruise and each of us got a full plate of them to eat -- Walt even ate his. (New foods he has tried -- mussels, lobster, blueberries, cod, moose, halibut, scallops.)
We even learned to speak 'Newfunese' and drank Screech.
Tonight the Botwood Boys & Girls Club and parents fixed a Newfie Potluck Dinner for us. We had Moose Stew, Cod Brewis (casserole), blueberry pie and much more. It was like a family dinner.

Walt eating mussels? I don't believe it!!! Ha! Thanks for the Fantasy info, I have ordered the info from them. Sounds like you are having a ball!!! We are happy for you but a little envious too maybe. ha! We are headed to Perry for long week-end Friday. Sounds kind of blah compared to you guys. When do you get home? Be careful and live it up!!!
