Well, we've had a couple of weeks of R & R. Ready to hit the highway again. We left mid-morning and did not intend to make it a long day of travel.
We traveled to Onawa, Iowa (on the Iowa side of I-29, Nebraska on the west side). Found such a nice campground that a friend had recommended. On-Ur-Wa RV Park is such a nice, clean park. The sites are large and level -- an RVers dream. For those of you as slow as I in understanding the 'Indian' name, it translates to "On Your Way". Cute, but it took me a long time to decode that one!
We left home in light rain but it soon cleared and by the time we reached the Nebraska line it was clear and sunny. No wind. Hope that follows us the next few days. We had had so much rain at home -- then over 3" on Friday on already saturated ground. Doesn't look like they have had as much rain up here.
