Making Progress

Walt has finished digging the gravel out on the east and north. He will be purchasing sand today to set the pavers in.

I got some 20" pots and planted croton and English ivy. They add a nice splash of color.

I also got lots of the weeds removed, pruned the petunias and planted Bulbine between the petunias. The Bulbine reminds me of a miniature Ret Hot Poker plant. Its greenery grows to 6-12" tall and the yellow & orange flowers shoot up to 18" on a single stem. Should add some nice color.

The little Coontie Palm that we planted in January survived the summer pretty well.
