Last night's campground was right in the landing path for the Bangor Airport. We decided to drive on south to Freeport where a campground had been recommended.
We arrived at Freeport Village campground around 1pm and were promptly greeted and invited to join everyone for Happy Hour at 4pm and order pizza. It was a fun evening and we met lots of very nice people. Most are seasonal campers and spend most of their summer in this campground.
