No we didn't see them in the same place. We drove south to Bandon and visited Old Town Bandon.
On the way back we took another road to view the cranberry bogs. The bogs were dry but some were thick with cranberries. We were told in Bandon that the actual harvest is not until November. The first photo here is a bog. Then we drove to Charleston OR and had good seafood for lunch.
Then out to the point of Cape Arago to see the seals (actually I think they were sea lions, but I'm calling them seals here). We had seen seals there yesterday afternoon but it was low tide. Today was high tide and the seals were frolicking in the waves and closer to the viewpoint.
In the first photo of waves, you can see a seal swimming. He was rolling and diving and it looked like he was having trouble getting to a rock. Then suddenly he had played enough and just easily slid up onto the nearest rock and let out a bellow. In the photo, he looks like "King of the Hill".

The last
photo shows an example of all the seals laying on the rocks in the sun. As far as we could see, there were more rocks covered with seals. The barking & howling was loud.

That's so neat! I can just imagine the sound of all the barking seals.
