Downtown El Paso

Today we drove downtown.

El Paso is a very busy and colorful town.

The architecture is a mix of old, ornate buildings mixed with new, modern buildings. There is much Hispanic influence.

After driving through the downtown, we took the scenic drive up Rim Road. What a beautiful view! Gorgeous homes overlook the city.

We are pictured at an overlook with friend Jim.

Glad to see you are enjoying El Paso. There are a lot of things to see and do there. Sorry the weather has been so cold for you. It can get rather chilly at night in the winter. Coupled with the wind it can be real chilly. And believe it or not it can snow in El Paso since it is in the middle of the mountains. They don't get much snow or rain though. It is a very dry climate.
