Unloading the ferry

We had breakfast aboard the ferry. After a briefing, we started unloading at 8:30 am.

There were many ferry workers to guide us off the ferry -- but they didn't all give the same directions at the same time! Walt finally said "I'm stopping until ONE person gives me directions." Everyone was unloaded without incident.

We were all unloaded, passed customer, passed military inspection and passed agricultural inspection. We were ready to drive to Cabo by 11 am.

We drove 114 miles to Cabo San Lucas, the southernmost tip of the Baja peninsula.. It was an interesting drive.

We had to pass through a Trucker's Strike. Our Wagonmaster asked Walt to drive to the front of our caravan - hoping the truckers would identify with the Peterbilt and let us through. It worked. We stopped for about 15 minutes while all the truckers climbed onto the running boards and looked the truck over. Many took photos and some posed in the driver's seat.
