We drove through the Guadalupe Mountains & National Park. Here is a photo of El Capitan -- the most impressive peak.
We arrived in El Paso. Staying at the Mission RV Park until our tour leaves on the morning of Jan 16th. It is COLD here. We have already gone through one bottle of propane on our trip down.
Felt like home immediately -- our Wagonmasters (Ken & Wanda) & Tailgunners (Gene & Ruth) from the Tracks Maritime Tour (Aug 2005) are in the same park. It's great to see them and catch up.
Have already met our Wagonmasters for this trip and several others with our tour group have pulled in today.
We'll spend our time in El Paso getting acquainted and stocking up on supplies. Several sights on our list of things to see in the area.
