Back on the Alaska Highway

We drove from Fairbanks to Delta Junction where we picked up the end of the Alaska Highway.

Photo 1 shows the Alaska Pipeline running alongside the highway bridge.

We made good time today considering that most of the highway was under construction from Tok, Alaska to the Canadian border – about 90 miles.

Since we still had lots of daylight, we traveled on to the Kluane River just north of Destruction Bay. We spent the night here at a pull-out with several other RVs.
