In Arizona - barely

Today was a day of many states -- Utah, Arizona, Nevada, California & back to Arizona.

Much construction and a ban on buses, trucks & trailers on Hoover Dam caused us to detour on US 95 from Las Vegas to Needles & Blythe, California.

We stopped for lunch in Needles. They didn't even have a digital thermometer on any of the businesses. Thanks goodness we don't have a thermometer in the truck. Rumor was 110 degrees but maybe hotter.

We stopped after a long, hot day of 461 miles. We're staying at Quartzite, Arizona tonight. We decided to avoid the busy traffic in Phoenix tonight. We'll have about 3 hours of travel time tomorrow.
