Driving Through Utah

I-15 stretches a long way through Utah. We were surprised to see all the major Utah cities along this route.

The first three photos are of the Great Salt Lake. Yes, some areas of the lake are just salt and no water.

The mountains were beautiful and rocky. Maybe tomorrow we will see some of the red soil characteristic of southern Utah.

We saw fields of alfalfa, potatoes, cereal grains, corn, lavender and apples. Lots of mills - both wood & grain. A large Budweiser facility and a large Malt-O-Meal factory.

We drove 561 miles today to Beaver, Utah.
