Muncho Lake to Grande Prairie

Lots more wildlife viewing today. And we finally saw Caribou! Here's the rundown --

  • Moose
  • Caribou
  • Lynx
  • Black Bear
  • Porcupine
  • Ground Squirrels
  • Stone Sheep

We are now in farmland. Wheat, barley, oats and canola (yes, yellow fields of canola to make oil).

Hey, it's warm too. It was 79 when we pulled into the campground.

We are spending the night in Grande Prairie, Alberta.

Today was another day of rough roads. Hope they are better from here out. We have about 800 miles to get to the US border in Montana. Then an additional 1500 miles to Phoenix.

I just got caught up on the blog. Missed the big fishing trip sounded like fun. Please be careful going to your sister guys. My hearts with you. And can't wait to see you. Love Judy

Hello, Sorry you had to cut your Alaskan adventure short. We are praying for your brother-in-law.
The girls and I had a wonderful time on our trip. They know how to plan a vacation - we did get to tour the Biltmore Estate and gardens, all I can say was WOW! Of course we did lots of other fun things too and will share that with you sometime.
