Marble Canyon

Woke up to rain again this morning. We decided to drive to Kootenay National Park which is on the west side of the Continental Divide. If the weather is bad on one side of the divide, it's bound to be better on the other side!

We hiked to Marble Canyon. It was the most breathtaking sight. The falls is swift and has cut a deep canyon in the rock.

This area was also the sight of a 2001 forest fire. It was nice to see the little evergreens sprouting up through the ruins.

We drove the entire length of Kootenay Park. We did see a black bear and a herd of Bighorn Sheep.

When we returned to Lake Louise, it was still raining.
